The 3 day gorilla trekking fly-in safari in Uganda starts from Entebbe International Airport with daily scheduled flights to Bwindi national park. The flight from Entebbe to Bwindi is provided by AeroLink Uganda. There are two local airports serving Bwindi National Park. Kisoro airport in Kisoro district and Kihihi airport in Kanungu district. Kisoro airport also serves the nearby Mgahinga gorilla national park. The flight from Entebbe to Bwindi leaves around 7:00 am local time daily and departs from Bwindi to Entebbe in the morning daily.

Day 1: Flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airport
The flight from Entebbe to Kisoro will take about an hour. A Bamboo Ecotours guide will pick you up from Kisoro Airstrip and drive to the lodge for check-in. Optional activities for the day include coffee-making experience, Batwa community visit, canoeing at Lake Mutanda, and many more.
Day 2: Gorillas tour day in Bwindi National Park
You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct the presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take from few to many hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest.
Note: Depending on availability of gorilla permits, we might propose trekking gorillas at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Day 3: Take a domestic flight from Kisoro Airport to Entebbe International Airport
The flight from Kisoro or Kihihi airport to Entebbe will take about an hour. A Bamboo Ecotours guide will pick you up from the lodge at 6:00am and drive to Kisoro or Khihi Airstrip for the scheduled flight to Entebbe
